So...I kinda want to have a garden, and I also think I want chickens next Spring. Very lofty goals for someone who can't keep a plant alive (I had a houseplant that I named Seymour, who thrived until I forgot to water him for weeks on end), and whose pets own her, and not the other way around.
However, the idea of growing my own fruits and veggies, and having my own eggs, sounds so divine. I'd have lots and lots of help with gardening and growing my own produce, so I feel okay there, if nervous. In the meantime, I share this with you, per friends' recommendations, if any of you have the same crazy chicken fever as I do:
